Timeline Grid Information and Templates
Overview
The timeline grid is a simple research log which helps you record your findings in an easy-to-read format. Free templates are available for the US, UK, and Canada.

Note: You must have a Google account in order to use Google Drive.
- Click the link for the template you want to copy.
The document opens in Google Drive. - From the menu bar, choose File > Make a Copy (if you do not see the menu bar, select the double down arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. If Make a Copy is grayed out, sign in to Google Drive.
- Type a new document name, and then click OK.
The copied document will appear in your Google Drive file list.

- Click the link for the template you want to download.
- If the document opens in Word, click File > Save As and save a copy to your hard drive. If you see a dialog box with an option to save the document, click the option to save a copy to your hard drive.
